The ultra-thin battery can be assembled into a credit card. Liquid lithium batteries generally adopt the method of customizing the shell first, and then sealing the positive and negative materials. The thickness below 3.6mm has a technical bottleneck, and polymer batteries do not have this problem. The thickness can be less than 1mm, which is in line with the current demand for mobile phones. 8. Lightweight polymer electrolyte batteries do not need metal casings to protect them. Polymer batteries are 40% lighter than steel lithium batteries of the same capacity and 20% lighter than aluminum batteries. 9.
