The service life of lead-acid batteries always seems to be unsatisfactory. Generally, the recyclable life of lead-acid batteries is up to one and a half years, and lead-acid batteries of better quality can even be recycled for up to two years. But under normal circumstances, the life of lead-acid batteries begins to decline after half a year of use. Its power will gradually decrease. From the perspective of use and maintenance, whether you are a maintenance-free battery or an ordinary lead-acid battery, the normal service life is about 2-3 years, and if it is used less, it is 3 to 4 years. The domestic single-cell 12V lead-acid battery is designed to have a floating charge life of 5-8 years, but it has been completely scrapped in 1-2 years; no matter any lead-acid battery (including domestic and imported), it can't escape the cycle of early scrapping in use. In the process of charging and discharging lead-acid batteries, lead sulfate crystals gradually appear on the electrode plates. This phenomenon leads to the aging of the battery, which is manifested as: the battery is difficult to charge and discharge; the battery capacity is reduced; it further promotes the corrosion of the electrode plate and reduces the service life of the battery.
