1. Timeliness of charging: (1) Lithium-ion batteries are generally charged with half-charge when they leave the factory. When you ride for the first time, it is best to fully charge the battery. One is that self-discharge will reduce the charge of the lithium-ion battery, and the other is that it can activate the active material in it. (2) It is not necessary to drain the battery every time you ride a bicycle, because over-discharge will cause great damage to the lithium-ion battery. Long-term overcharge and discharge will reduce the number of battery cycles by 3 times. At least when the battery bike is reminded that the battery is too low during the whole process of riding, it is necessary to resolutely stop riding and charge the lithium-ion battery. 2. Timeliness of charging: (1) It is reasonable to charge lithium-ion batteries anytime and anywhere, even if the battery has 50% power consumption before charging. This is because it is different from Ni-MH batteries, Ni-MH batteries have memory properties, while Li-ion batteries do not. (2) Don't overcharge the battery, stop the battery charging when the battery charging is on and the indicator light is on. 3. Charge to make up for self-discharge: If the battery is not used for a long time, the battery must be charged once within 60~90 days, because the best storage situation of lithium-ion battery is half-electric storage (that is, it is stored at 40% of the allowable volume of the rechargeable battery~ Between 60%). We know that the larger working voltage of a lithium-ion battery is, therefore, the storage working voltage is best in the middle, and the volume at this time is mostly half. 4. Original battery charging equipment: The original lithium-ion battery charger should be used for battery charging as much as possible. The genuine charging head has strong application characteristics, and the battery charging rate is moderate. There are some fast charging stations, and it is recommended not to use too much. There are reasons for applying it once or twice a year. Charging the battery with excessive current will also cause great damage to the internal structure of the rechargeable battery. 5. The natural environment of the temperature during storage: The natural environment of the polymer lithium-ion battery is relatively wide, ranging from -20°C to 45°C, but in fact the best temperature is the indoor temperature. From the perspective of embrittlement, temperature may be the key reason for the slow decrease of lithium ion capacity. For my country, where the regional temperature difference is large, cold-resistant lithium-ion batteries should be developed in North China, and heat-resistant lithium-ion batteries should be developed in coastal areas.
