How to choose lithium battery products correctly? View lithium battery safety test certification i.UL certification At present, most countries and regions in the world require products involving safety, health, environmental protection and other items to obtain safety certification before entering the market. The UL mark has become one of the world's famous safety certification marks. The testing standards are as follows: 1. The outer shell of the lithium battery should be strong and hard enough to withstand excessive pressure without causing a fire. The user-replaceable lithium battery should be strong enough not to hurt people. 2. The battery that can be replaced by the electrolyte user shall not contain pressurized vapor or toxic vapor and liquid that may harm the eyes, or the leakage of the battery shell under normal laboratory conditions (temperature: 23°C) shall not exceed 5ml. 3. When using lithium batteries, measures to prevent abnormal charging current should be used. The battery under test should have an acceptable charging current Ic. Under abnormal conditions, the terminal product should take protective measures. 4. The maximum mass loss of a discharged battery or battery shall not exceed 1g0.5%, 1~5g0.2%>5g0.1%. 5. Mechanical test (1) Squeeze: A pressure of 13KN (17.2Mpa) is applied to the two planes of the battery through a hydraulic piston with a diameter of 32mm, and the pressure is released when the maximum pressure is reached. The sample will not catch fire or explode. (2) Impact: Place a rod with a diameter of 15.8mm in the center of the sample, and drop a weight of 9.1kg from a height of 610mm onto the sample. The sample will not catch fire or explode. (3) Acceleration: Place the battery on a fixed fixture and accelerate in three mutually perpendicular directions (acceleration requirements: the minimum average acceleration in the initial 3ms is 75g, and the peak acceleration is 125-175g). The test temperature is 20±5°C. The sample shall not catch fire, explode, or leak. (4) Vibration: Simple tuning vibration of the battery (along three mutually perpendicular directions). The vibration frequency changes at a frequency of 1Hz/min within the range of 10-55hz, and recovers within 90-100min, with an amplitude of 0.8mm. The sample must not catch fire, explode or leak. (5) Thermal shock: The sample is heated in a natural convection or forced convection furnace. The temperature of the oven is increased to 150°C, the heating rate is 5±2°C/min, and the temperature is stopped after 10 minutes. The sample must not catch fire or explode. (6) Thermal cycle test: The battery is placed in the test room, and the cycle is as follows: (7) High altitude simulation: The sample battery is stored at an absolute pressure of 11.6Kpa (1.68psi) and 20±3°C (68±5F) for 6 hours. The sample battery should not explode or catch fire, nor should it perforate or leak. 6. Lithium battery charge and discharge test (1) Charge and discharge cycle: The test temperature is 25℃, and the battery should be charged and discharged according to the manufacturer's requirements. When the capacity is 25% of the initial nominal capacity or the cycle continues for 90 days, the cycle is terminated. The samples should be free of any safety incidents. (2) Short circuit test: In this article, the battery with a resistance value of less than 0.1 copper connector is negative, and the battery is discharged until a fire or explosion, or until the fully discharged battery case temperature stops to room temperature (the test is at room temperature 60± 2°C). The sample shall not ignite or explode spontaneously, and the temperature of the shell or battery shell shall not exceed 150°C. (3) Abnormal charging test: After normal discharge, charge at 3 times the normal charging current. Without fire, there would be no explosion. (4) Forced discharge test: the battery is completely discharged at room temperature. After the battery is connected in series with a certain number of new batteries of the same model, a short circuit test is performed on the formed battery pack. The sample must not catch fire or explode. (5) Overcharge: When the battery is fully charged, it is charged with 3C, 10V constant current and constant voltage. When the current reaches 100mA, the battery is charged at a constant voltage for 48 hours. 7. The identification battery should be marked with the manufacturer's name, product name or trademark or style setting. The battery should be marked with a warning and explained.
