Mixed use of battery series In the use of batteries, sometimes new and old batteries are used in series, which is unimaginable, and this will shorten the service life of the battery. Due to the chemical reaction in the large-scale new battery materials, the high voltage and low internal resistance (the internal resistance of the 12v battery is only 0.0150.018); and the low-voltage battery has a larger internal resistance (the internal resistance of the 12v battery is older than 0.085). If the old and new batteries are mixed in series, and then in the charging state, the charging voltage at both ends of the old battery will be higher than the charging voltage at both ends of the new battery, resulting in the formation of the new battery charging is not enough, and the old battery has been charged too high; in the discharged state Next, because the charging capacity of the new battery is greater than the charging capacity of the old battery, the old battery is over-discharged, and even the counter electrode of the old battery is formed. Therefore, the battery must not be a mixture of new and old. 2. Diesel car battery cell damage continues to be used. Because the diesel compression of the machine is larger, the required starting torque is also greater, so the 24v voltage starter diesel engine is generally selected, in order to improve the rating of the starter, generator and vehicle electrical equipment The 12v voltage is still in use, so the diesel circuit contains a voltage switch. The starter switch connects two 12v battery series and 24v voltage power supply. In the initial state, the switch and the two batteries resume parallel operation to meet the 12v voltage requirements. However, when a battery is damaged, some drivers will continue to use it after a short circuit. For example, the voltage of the two batteries will form a larger discharge current and charging current, resulting in damage to the battery and the generator, and the diesel car battery should be replaced immediately after a single damage. Or repair, and will continue to use the single battery short circuit. 3. The charging capacity of the battery does not match the initiator. A reasonable selection of the charging capacity of the battery according to the type of initiator and working conditions is one of the important ways to improve battery economy and extend battery life. When the starter starts, the output current of the battery is very large, usually 150a-200a, and it is as high as 250a-300a when starting at low temperature (-10℃). If the battery charging capacity does not match the machine, and the small capacity battery is charged, under the condition of large starting resistance and serious discharge capacity of small rechargeable batteries, the reaction of active materials and sulfuric acid must be accelerated per unit time, so that the battery temperature will rise, and the board will be overloaded and The twists and turns result in a decline in the formation of active materials, many boards are damaged early, and the battery life is greatly reduced. If the battery has a large charging capacity, although the above-mentioned problems will not occur, its active materials cannot be fully utilized, which will make the battery economical. Therefore, the charging capacity of the battery must match the initiator. Generally, the selection of battery charging capacity should be based on the power and voltage of the starter and the load of electrical equipment. 4. Parallel and mixed use of batteries. Some drivers start the engine. Due to insufficient storage of primary batteries, there are enough batteries in parallel for general use. In fact, if the batteries are fully connected in parallel, they will charge the high-flow batteries, and the storage of the batteries is not enough, which will easily cause the active material of the plates to fall off, affecting its service life. Parallel storage of batteries cannot supply large starting current to the starter, and it is not conducive to the start of the starter. The correct method should be to remove the insufficiently stored batteries, replace enough batteries, and then start the engine.
