Huayou Cobalt Industry Co., Ltd. controls resources and expands the market. With its own mineral resources as the guarantee, it mainly processes lithium-ion battery cathode material precursors, cobalt chemicals and copper-nickel metals. March 2017, Huayou Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. In August 2017, Huayou Recycling announced the acquisition of 100% of Birun Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and 70% of South Korea’s TMC Company to enter the field of battery dismantling and recycling.
