How to test whether the battery is good or bad

1. Judging from the appearance, observe whether the appearance is deformed, bulging, leaking, broken and exploded, burnt, and whether there is oxide seepage at the screw connection, etc. 2. Load measurement If there is no abnormal appearance, the UPS is working in battery mode with a certain amount of load. If the discharge time is clearly shorter than the normal discharge time, after 8 hours of charging, the normal standby time cannot be restored, and the battery is judged to be aging. 3. Use a battery disintegrator to test a simple battery tester, which can only measure the battery voltage in a large current discharge state, and roughly judge the battery's storage capacity. At present, the more advanced battery tester can accurately measure the cold start current (CCA) in addition to the start-up discharge, such as the WDKR-J battery discharge monitor. The judgment method is as follows: 1. Connect the battery tester to the battery for 10-15 seconds during use, and keep the voltage at 10.5～11.6V, indicating that the capacity is sufficient and the battery has no fault; 2. Keep the voltage at 9.6V～10.5V, indicating that the capacity is insufficient , The battery is not faulty; 3. The voltage drops below 9.6V, indicating that the capacity is severely insufficient or the battery is faulty.
