How to choose and use the battery correctly?

When buying a battery, read the letters on it clearly. Anything with the QA letter is a dry-charged battery. 1. Shake the electrolyte well before adding it to the battery. Please wear gloves during operation, and be careful not to spill the electrolyte on your hands or clothes. 2. For batteries without a marking line, the electrolyte should be 10 to 15 mm higher than the plate; for batteries with two red lines, the electrolyte should not exceed the upper red line. 3. Some people think that the more electrolyte, the greater the electricity. This is a wrong idea. When the car is running at a high speed, the generator output voltage is greater than the battery voltage, and the battery starts to be charged. When charging, the electrolyte volume expands, and if the electrolyte is too full, it will overflow from the small holes in the battery cover. The electrolyte conducts electricity, and once it flows between the positive and negative poles of the battery, it forms a self-discharge loop. The car cannot start and shortens the battery life. In this case, use cotton wool to wipe off the electrolyte, or rinse with boiling water. 4. Don't let other objects fall into the battery when adding electrolyte. If something falls in accidentally, do not use metal materials to fish, use wooden rods to clamp out impurities; if iron or copper wire is used to fish, metal molecules will enter the battery under the corrosion of sulfuric acid to form self-discharge and damage the battery. 5. Regularly check whether the small holes on the battery cover are ventilated. If the small hole is blocked, the gas that appears will not be discharged, and the battery casing will be broken when the electrolyte expands, thereby reducing the life of the battery. 6. Check the liquid level of the electrolyte regularly, and add the electrolyte in time when the liquid level drops. 7. If the vehicle is left unused for a long time, start the vehicle every 25 days and run it at a medium speed for about 20 minutes. Otherwise, the car will be left for too long and it will be difficult to start. 8. When removing the battery from the car, first remove the negative electrode and then the positive electrode, the opposite is the case when installing. When charging, the battery cover must be unscrewed. Do not use an open flame to approach the battery port being charged, because the hydrogen that appears in the battery can easily ignite during charging.
