Why a high-rate lithium-ion battery? High-rate batteries generally refer to lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are high-rate rechargeable batteries that rely on lithium ions to move between the positive and negative electrodes to work. During charging and discharging, Li+ is intercalated and deintercalated back and forth between the two electrodes: when recharging the battery, Li+ is deintercalated from the positive electrode and inserted into the negative electrode through the electrolyte, and the negative electrode is in a lithium-rich state; the opposite is true during discharge. Batteries that generally use materials containing lithium as electrodes are representative of modern high-performance batteries. Fast charging of ordinary rate batteries can easily cause lithium precipitation in the negative electrode, resulting in faster degradation of lithium-ion battery performance, and in severe cases, it can cause internal short circuit of the battery, causing fire and explosion. Most consumer applications only require 1C batteries. If a higher discharge rate and faster charging time are required, a high-rate battery is the best choice. Advantages of high-rate lithium-ion battery ①It has the characteristics of excellent high-current discharge performance, sufficient explosive power, high discharge platform, and good cycle life; ②It has high energy density and adopts laminated technology, which is more conducive to the rate due to its low internal resistance. Charge and discharge, high-efficiency output performance; ③Supply higher discharge rate, up to 45C, better temperature stability during discharge, controlled within 65 degrees Celsius to prevent overheating and damage; ④Lithium-ion battery is ultra-thin and bulky Small and light weight, it can be made into special-shaped batteries of various shapes and capacities, and the thickness can be 0.45mm.
