What is the cause of the bulge and deformation of the battery?

Why is the battery swollen? The bulge deformation of the battery is mainly due to the addition of the internal pressure brush. The important reasons are as follows. (1) The opening pressure of the safety valve is too high, or the safety valve is blocked. When the internal pressure increases to a certain level, the valve cannot be opened normally, which will inevitably cause bulging deformation. (2) The floating charging pressure is set too high and the charging current is too large, resulting in accelerated O2 precipitation on the positive electrode plate and failure of negative electrode recombination. At the same time, the temperature inside the battery also rises rapidly. When the exhaust volume is insufficient and the pressure reaches a certain level, the valve-regulated lead-acid battery will bulge and deform. (3) During the charging operation of valve-regulated lead-acid batteries, especially in series battery packs, if the battery pack is overcharged, if the quality of the battery is not good, bad gas recombination will often occur inside, causing bulging. . (4) Since valve-regulated lead-acid batteries are designed for poor liquids, there is a reserved way to prevent gas binding. If there is a flooding phenomenon, the generated O2 will not diffuse to the negative electrode, thereby reducing the recombination rate of O2 and increasing the internal pressure. It is important to inspect the battery to observe the appearance and measure the no-load voltage and load voltage. (1) Check the appearance of the battery. Regarding the newly purchased battery, check whether it has good marks, such as model number, nominal voltage, processing date, etc. In addition, check for damage, leakage, deformation, etc. (2) Use a multimeter DC block to test the battery voltage, the range is slightly larger than the rated voltage, the red rice pen battery is on the front, the black pen battery is negative, the measured voltage is no-load voltage, and the voltage value should not be lower than the rated voltage (this is the case for new batteries) . Put the load resistance (resistance size specified by the manufacturer) between the batteries, negative, and then use the method to measure the battery voltage, measure the voltage value, for the load voltage (working voltage), this value should be similar to the rated voltage (new Battery). The battery is good. If the voltage is measured higher than the nominal power, the battery can no longer be used. Pay attention to the following matters when using silicon photovoltaic cells: ①The output characteristics of silicon photovoltaic cells are related to the load. Under certain light conditions, when the load is very small, the output current of the silicon photovoltaic cell tends to short-circuit current; and when the load is very small, the output voltage tends to the open circuit voltage.
