What are the common laminated batteries? What are the differences between them?

Electrical repairs, electric vehicle repairs, computer repairs, and many other repairs are inseparable from multimeters. You must be familiar with the 9V laminated battery in multimeters. Some laminated batteries are labeled 6F22, and some are labeled 6LR61. Which types of batteries are different, do you know? Let's first look at the difference between these two batteries. The same is that the rated voltage of these two batteries is 9V. The difference is that 6F22 is a carbon battery (basically all carbon-zinc batteries), and 6LR61 is an alkaline battery (alkaline zinc-manganese battery). Alkaline batteries have better performance and are more expensive and more durable. The external dimensions of the battery are the same as 26.5mm in width, 17.5mm in thickness, and 48.5mm in height. The inside is composed of 6 miniature chip batteries stacked, hence the name laminated battery (or called laminated battery, laminated battery). This type of 9V laminated battery is mostly used in electronic instruments such as walkie-talkies, toy remote controls, wireless microphones, and multimeters. This type of laminated battery has a small capacity, a high voltage, a small discharge current, and a long use time. It is estimated that the 6F22 carbon battery has a capacity of 400mAh and the 6LR61 alkaline battery has a capacity of 565mAh. In addition to the above two types, there are 9V rechargeable batteries such as Ni-MH and Ni-Cd. The meaning of the battery model, 6F22 carbon laminated battery, means a laminated battery composed of 6 F22 flat batteries in series, with a rated voltage of 6*1.5u003d9V. The 10F20 battery means a laminated battery with 10 F20 flat batteries in series, with a rated voltage of 10*1.5u003d15V and an external dimension of 26*16*37.2mm. And because the battery contains highly flammable liquid electrolyte, it may short circuit or even catch fire. Replacing the graphite anode used in lithium batteries with lithium metal can increase the energy density: the theoretical charging capacity of lithium metal is nearly 10 times higher than that of graphite. However, in the process of electroplating lithium, dendrites are often formed. If they penetrate the separator in the middle of the battery, they will cause a short circuit and cause people to worry about battery safety. The research team decided to focus on solid ceramic electrolytes. Compared with the flammable electrolytes in traditional lithium batteries, they show great potential in improving safety and energy density. Rechargeable solid-state lithium batteries are of particular interest because they are promising candidates for next-generation energy storage. Most solid electrolytes are ceramic, so they are not flammable and eliminate safety hazards. In addition, the solid ceramic electrolyte has high mechanical strength, which can actually inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites, making lithium metal the choice of coating for battery anodes. However, most solid electrolytes are unstable to lithium ions, are easily corroded by metallic lithium, and cannot be used in batteries. Qian Cheng, the first author of the paper and a postdoctoral scientist in the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics, said: Lithium metal is indispensable for increasing energy density, so it is vital that we can use it as an anode for solid electrolytes. In order to adapt these unstable solid electrolytes to practical applications, it is necessary to develop a chemically and mechanically stable interface to protect these solid electrolytes from lithium anodes. In addition to the battery analyzed above, there is another battery similar to the AAA battery, but with a smaller volume and higher voltage. The battery is marked with 12V23A, which means that the rated voltage of the battery is 12V. It is packed with 8 1.5v button batteries (8*1.5u003d12V). The capacity of this battery is only 55mAh, which is composed of multiple AG-type button batteries are stacked and are mostly used in various remote controls.
