Share some tips for drone battery maintenance

How much do you know about the maintenance techniques of UAV lithium battery? UAV is no longer the patent of the ultimate hobbyist, but the patent of the public. But drones flying at high altitudes come at a price. Some people say that three pieces of drones need to be used and seven pieces are kept. This requires users to pay attention to routine maintenance, which greatly extends their service life and makes flying safer. Today, ge’s battery shared some tips for drone maintenance. I hope everyone can play safely and have fun. 1. Waterproof, moisture-proof, sand-proof water, rain and sand are the three natural killers of drones. Although drones are not damaged when exposed to water, they are not yet waterproof. If it rains suddenly during aerial photography, it is best to return to the ground immediately and then power dry the drone. It is best to air dry for a period of time, or put it in a moisture-proof box to absorb moisture, and use it after moisture absorption. 7-11-1 In addition to rainfall, dust also has a great impact on UAVs, especially equipment such as motors. Try to prevent taking off on sandy or gravel surfaces. If you cannot fly in the desert, please clean up as soon as possible after using the drone to reduce the impact of dust on electronic components. 2. Battery maintenance The biggest consumer of all drone equipment is batteries. Regarding the battery, six principles should be followed as far as possible: rechargeable, rechargeable, not satisfied with the storage of electricity, no damage to the skin, no short circuit, and no cold, so as to further extend its service life. Try to prevent battery exhaustion during the flight, keep at least 15% battery power when returning home, and keep flying at a constant speed. 7-11-2 There is an easy way to check if your battery is ready for use: see if there are any bumps outside. A bulging battery must be broken. Some drone batteries are installed in a protective box to see if they are loose after installation. If the installation is not smooth, the expansion of the battery may cause the casing to squeeze and deform. When using the battery, you can pay attention to the voltage, the power drops too fast. Generally speaking, before the battery starts to deteriorate significantly, it is used twice a week for a maximum of one year. If you frequently take aerial photography, you should also pay attention to the effect of temperature on the battery. From the tropics to the frigid zone, when used in low-temperature areas, the battery should be warm to reduce the rapid rise in voltage. 3. Know the damping ball. If you find that the video is unstable while flying in the air, this is not necessarily a problem with your head. First, check the damper ball on the damper plate and connect the head to the aircraft. When the jelly phenomenon occurs in the shooting video, it is most likely that the impact ball is too hard or broken. Once damage is found, it should be replaced immediately to prevent distortion or fluctuations in aerial images. Under normal circumstances, headhead products purchased by yourself may be equipped with multiple shock absorbers for different aircraft. 4. Focus on the propeller Propeller is also one of the equipment that drones consume quickly, especially for beginners, so you should pay more attention. Although in normal use, there is little chance that the blade will break due to the drone falling to the ground, it is not uncommon for the drone to hit a tree due to visual errors or improper operation. At this time, it is necessary to pay special attention to whether the cracks and gaps of the blades directly affect the stability of the flight. If the damage is severe, it is best to replace the propeller directly. 5. Engine on flight stability In addition to the propeller, the engine has the greatest impact on flight stability. If the drone tilts unreasonably or fails to land smoothly when hovering, it may be an engine problem. Try to recalibrate the fuselage before takeoff. If there are still problems, they must be sent to the factory for repair in time to prevent motor failures or even drone crashes.
