1. Lithium batteries are generally classified according to internal materials 1. Lithium metal batteries: Lithium metal batteries are generally batteries that use manganese dioxide as the positive electrode material, lithium metal or its alloy metal as the negative electrode material, and use a non-aqueous electrolyte solution. 2. Lithium batteries: Lithium batteries generally use lithium alloy metal oxide as the positive electrode material, graphite as the negative electrode material, and non-aqueous electrolyte. 2. Classification by positive and negative materials 1. Lithium iron phosphate battery: Lithium phosphate has good electrochemical performance and low resistance. The key advantages are high rated current and long cycle life; good thermal stability, enhanced safety and tolerance to abuse. Provided that it is kept at a high voltage for a long time, lithium phosphate is more resistant to all charging conditions and has less stress than other lithium-ion systems. 2. Lithium cobalt oxide battery: its high specific energy makes lithium cobalt oxide a popular choice for mobile phones, notebook computers and digital cameras. The battery consists of a cobalt oxide cathode and a graphite carbon anode. The cathode has a layered structure. During discharge, lithium ions move from the anode to the cathode, while the direction of flow is opposite during the charging process. 3. Lithium manganate battery: Lithium manganate battery can be discharged at a current of 20-30A, and has a moderate heat accumulation. Load pulses up to 501 seconds can also be applied. Continued high load at this current will cause heat to accumulate, and the battery temperature must not exceed 80°C (176°F). Lithium manganate is used in power tools, medical equipment, and hybrid and pure electric vehicles. Third, the first category is classified according to the shell material, the steel shell battery, as the name implies, the shell is made of steel. The second type, aluminum shell battery, similarly, the outer shell is made of aluminum. The third category, polymer batteries, the outer shell is a polymer material, mostly silver, a few manufacturers make black, the industry has become black.
