Lithium battery battery structure diagram Polymer lithium battery battery is mainly composed of positive and negative plates, membranes, tabs, packaging film and electrolyte, and each part has its own function. Lithium battery structure 1. Positive electrode plate: The positive electrode material is coated on the aluminum foil, and then embossed. 2. Negative plate: Coat the negative electrode material on the copper foil and then emboss it. 3. Lug: The important function of the lug is to transfer the internal positive and negative electric energy to the external circuit. The electrode lugs of the polymer battery are positive aluminum tape and negative nickel tape. Considering the sealing of the aluminum-plastic packaging film, there is a layer of electrode ear glue on the sealed electrode ear. At the same time, since the anode of the aluminum strip is easy to break, special care should be taken to protect it during production, transportation, storage, and use. In order to ensure the sealing effect of the structure of the lithium battery, the material of the polar ear gel is basically the same as the inner layer of the packaging film, and the important thing is the PE material. 4. Separator: placed between the positive plate and the negative plate, the purpose of the separator is to separate the positive and negative electrodes of the battery to prevent direct short-circuit between the two poles. The membrane itself does not conduct electricity, but electrolyte ions can pass through. 5. Electrolyte: The electrolyte is the carrier of energy transfer in the battery. The voltage of a lithium battery is as high as 3~4.2v, so the electrolyte can only be used in organic solvents, and cannot be used in aqueous solutions (the decomposition voltage of water is 1.23v). Commonly used lithium LiPF6, LiBF4, LiCl04, organic solvents for lithium batteries are PC (propylene carbonate), EC (ethylene carbonate), BC (butylene carbonate), DMC (dimethyl carbonate), DEC (diethyl carbonate), MEC (methyl ethylene carbonate) and so on. Lithium battery electrolyte should have the characteristics of high conductivity, good chemical and electrochemical stability, wide temperature range, good safety, and low price. 6. Packaging film: The polymer battery is packaged with aluminum-plastic composite film, which is divided into at least three layers. The outer layer is a rubber layer to protect the aluminum from oxidation by the external environment. The inner layer is a rubber layer to seal and prevent the electrolyte from corroding the aluminum layer. Press the aluminum-plastic film into the desired shell shape. The pressure resistance of aluminum plastic film packaging is much worse than that of metal shell batteries. A short circuit inside the battery can easily cause gas expansion and severely cracked seals. Therefore, the safety performance of aluminum film batteries is better than that of metal shell batteries.
