The energy of a battery is divided into total energy, theoretical energy, actual energy, specific energy, energy density, charging energy, and discharging energy. Theoretical specific energy refers to the energy that can be output theoretically when 1kg of battery reactant material is completely discharged; actual specific energy refers to the actual energy that can be output from 1kg of battery reactant material. Due to the influence of various factors, the actual specific energy of the battery is much smaller than the theoretical specific energy. The specific energy of the battery is a comprehensive index, which reflects the quality level of the battery.
