Taking into account the characteristics of rod-type coatings, generally practical coating methods include roller coating, roller coating and scraper coating. Compared with blade coating, roller coating and slit coating are generally preferred, because they are easy to handle positive and negative color pastes of different viscosities to change the coating rate, and it is easy to control the thickness of the web coating. The basic production process of prismatic battery and cylindrical lithium-ion battery is the same, but the sealing method is different. The prismatic battery is laser welded to integrate the casing and cover, while the cylindrical battery is a traditional crimp compression seal.
