The 26650 lithium-ion battery is a cylindrical lithium-ion battery specification. It is suitable for electric tools, lighting, solar storage, electric vehicles, toys, instruments, UPS backup power supply, communication equipment, medical equipment, military lamps and other fields. The model meaning is: 26650, that is, the battery has a diameter of 26mm, a length of 65mm, and a cylindrical shape (as shown in the figure). Generally refers to lithium-ion batteries, including lithium primary batteries and lithium-ion batteries. Commonly used nickel cobalt manganese anode materials, lithium iron phosphate lithium ion battery materials inr26650-3.6v-4500mah, ifr26650-3.2v-3200mah. Safety performance Overcharge performance After standard charging of the battery, the initial state of the battery is measured. When the battery is in normal state, charge with 3C current to 10.0v, and then charge with constant voltage until the current reaches 0.01c. Observe the change in the appearance of the battery. Result: No fire, no explosive discharge performance standard. After charging, measure the initial state of the battery. When the battery is in normal condition, discharge to 0V at 0.5c. Observe the changes in the appearance of the battery. Result: No fire, no explosion. External short-circuit battery charging standard. Measure the initial state of the battery. It is negative when placed in a direct short-circuit explosion-proof cover (the line resistance does not exceed 50). When the battery temperature drops to 10°C, it is lower than the peak temperature. The experiment is over. Observe the temperature and appearance of the battery. Result: No fire, no explosive heat abuse The initial state of the battery was measured. After the battery is charged according to the standard, it is placed in an oven, and the temperature is increased to 130±2°C at (5±2°C)/min, and the temperature is kept for 30min. Observe the changes in the appearance of the battery. Result: No fire, no explosion fall to test the initial capacity of the battery. After standard charging, measure the initial state of the battery. Place the test battery on the concrete floor vertically and horizontally from the lowest height (1m). Result: No fire, no explosion. Heavy impact placed a steel rod with a diameter of 15.8mm in the middle of a fully charged battery; a hammer weighing 10Kg fell to the top of the battery from a height of 1.0m. Results: There was no fire and no explosion. The test core was placed between the two extrusion surfaces of the extrusion equipment. The cylindrical mandrel was parallel to the extrusion surface. The pressure was gradually increased to 13kN, and the pressure was maintained for 1 min. Result: No fire, no explosion.
