When the electrolyte is used in an all-solid-state lithium battery, its capacity remains 92% after 1000 long cycles of charge and discharge. The solid-state battery can be charged and discharged normally, even if the researchers tested it for angle cutting and nail piercing. All these solid polymer electrolytes have high thermal dimensional stability, excellent mechanical strength, wide electrochemical window and high ionic conductivity at room temperature so that the lithium battery electrolyte will seamlessly combine various tracking electrode data. It is expected to be widely used in the processing of lithium batteries for electric vehicles. According to the analysis by the researchers of the Institute of Green Energy, this kind of solid-state battery will not cause safety accidents such as collision, fire, explosion, etc., even under the conditions of car crash, kneading and high temperature extremes. As this study doubles the energy density of lithium batteries, the range of electric vehicles is expected to exceed 450 kilometers, and the range of applications is extremely wide.
